Results vary between individuals, depending on different factors such as general health, home skin care, age, skin type, diet, smoking, and alcohol consumption.
LHA LALA treatments of face/neck/decolletage are most effective after 3-6 sessions, so we recommend a full course, 7 to 12 days apart, depending on the skin condition being treated.
As we age and are prone to environmental aggressors daily, maintenance LHA LALA sessions are required for long-term results and daily use of SPF50+ and educational advice on homecare is vital.
For best results it is recommended treatments are performed once every 7-14 days initially, followed by maintenance treatments every 3 months as needed.

Unfortunately, you can’t have LHA LALA if pregnant or breastfeeding or have an allergy to Aspirin.

Implementing the following post-treatment protocols will enhance the results of your LHA LALA treatment. It will also help to minimise potential side effects and cosmetic downtime. Please review and implement the following post-treatment instructions.
Hydration is mandatory if you want to achieve radiant skin. You should follow the recommended post-treatment products and protocols recommended by your nurse. Use the recommended post care products daily to support skin recovery and aid long-term skin health
Your recovery time and depth of peel will depend on your skin condition. Your skin may become a little red and peel slightly. Please apply the Aftercare products as per the instructions supplied
Avoid direct sun to the treated area of the face or the body. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a SPF 30+ is mandatory - reapply every 2 hours if you are outdoors or swimming. It is essential to shield your skin from direct sunlight for several days; it is an integral part of the recovery process
Avoid waxing, and any other traditional forms of hair removal on the treated area for 14 days
Avoid further peels, IPL, laser and cosmeceutical facial treatments that are not prescribed by your nurse for 14 days
For the next 24 hours avoid: exercise, heated yoga, saunas, spas, hot room Pilates, and gym, generally getting overheated or inducing a heated response to the body
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment. A gentle walk whist avoiding direct sunlight is okay. Avoid chlorinated water, sauna, sap and any such heat inducing activity
Do not pick, scratch, tug or peel the skin. You may experience some mild peeling or dryness after the treatment, which is completely normal. It is crucial not to interfere with the healing process and allow your skin to heal uninterrupted to avoid any scarring or pigmentation issues. To minimise downtime, please adhere to your Aftercare regime and topicals prescribed by your nurse
Avoid ALL active/exfoliating products - AHA’s/BHA’s, Vitamin A/B/C products, Retinols, scrubs or enzymes for 10-14 days after treatment
Avoid harsh and dirty (unsanitised) wash clothes after the peel. Cleanse skin with a gentle cleanser and a soft cloth
Ensure all medications including anti-inflammatory medications have been discussed and any potential contraindications considered with your nurse
Where possible, avoid makeup for 24 hours after treatment. Alternatively, ensure your brushes and makeup is clean. Sunscreen and a hat are still essential for outdoors
